My word for the month is...
Cultivate
When I think back over the last serveral weeks in Febuary I am reminded I had an abudance of checklists, from signing myself up for a live, in-person CE course, to getting everything up and running for my massage business. The items I got checked off my to do list was: applied and became an LLC. with a EIN # plus creating a business bank account. There was applying for my TN massage license and last but not least building and creating this beautiful website you see here. The word cultivation this month has really brought me full circle in my new career as a massage therapist and I can truly say it's been something incredible to grow and watch develop over time. Here I am a full time massage therapist only 6 months in and feeling blessed beyond words. Having said that, the relationships I have nurtured and labored in have all been filled with learning new skills, working on refinement and improving my own personal touch and direction I want to veer towards within this field. Topographical Touch Massage & Bodywork is my business name, so if you see me around or are a frequent client of mine please say HI I love connecting with my fellow wanders.

what is challenging you this month...
If you're having a month like me, where checklist and a fully booked calendar is all you see minute after minute. I understand but don't see those do's as something you have to do start experiencing them as something "I GET TO DO" I'm alive and I'm surrounded by people, places and things I love.

ONLY A MOUNTAIN
This is only a mountain.
Steep. Wild. Unforgiving maybe —
but still only a mountain.
You don’t have to circle it,
study it to exhaustion,
or convince yourself you aren’t strong enough.
Stand firm.
Speak life.
Tell it to move —
and watch what faith can do.
The body was built to climb.
Legs to press upward.
Lungs to fill with fire.
Hands to grip the rock and not let go.
You don’t win by walking away.
You win by ascending.
By strengthening what feels weak.
By stretching what feels tight.
By trusting the design you were given.
This is only a mountain.
And mountains were made to be climbed.
So climb.
